Oct 21, 2009 Malaysia govt review concludes nuclear power worth pursuing "The decision to develop nuclear energy for power generation rests on the national nuclear policy. The policy draft is now being finalised by the cabinet." That's the word from Malaysia's Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Fadillah Yusof. He said the government would hold a seminar on nuclear energy next month: "Opposition MPs can give feedback and responses to the ministry on the direction of the national nuclear energy policy... More public awareness programmes will be held to educate the public on nuclear energy." Fadillah said the Malaysian Nuclear Agency had a staff of 334 with expertise in nuclear technology. [Source: V.
